Jarrad Carey is the General Manager of PoolEdge Systems, with over 15 years of experience in the pool edge, concreting and installation industry. His career began on the tools, installing pool edges as part of a decorative concrete team in Perth. This hands-on foundation gave him an intimate understanding of the practical challenges faced by contractors, as well as the importance of precision, durability and finish in outdoor projects.
Originally working for Terrastone, Jarrad quickly became instrumental in the growth of PoolEdge, taking on a leadership role and helping shape the business into what it is today. Recognising a gap in the Australian market for a more efficient pool edge solution, he has been a driving force behind the development, supply and national expansion of the PoolEdge system.
One of Jarrad’s proudest achievements is transforming PoolEdge from a local Perth-based service into a nationally recognised product and installation solution. His focus on quality manufacturing, reliable supply and consistent 5-star customer service has helped establish PoolEdge as a trusted name in the industry.
Jarrad holds a Level 2 apprenticeship in Plumbing and Maintenance from the UK, where he spent seven years working across bathrooms, kitchens and heating systems. This background has contributed to his strong attention to detail, particularly when it comes to straight lines, finishes and the structural elements underpinning quality installations.
Outside of work, Jarrad enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle, including race car driving, wakeboarding and camping – reflecting the same energy and hands-on passion he brings to his role at PoolEdge.
